A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
AUBURN TO SPONSOR WATER DISTRICT #111'S REQUEST FOR
APPLICATION TO JOIN TFiE ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON CITIES
(AVVC) EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST AS A NON-CITY ENTITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Autiurn has an interlocal agreement with Water
District #111 for emergency water services, and
WHEREAS, Water District #111 provides water services within the City
of Auburn's proposed annezation areas, and
WHEREAS, Water District #111 assists the City of Auburn on water
management planning, and
WHEREAS, Water District #111 would like to participate in the
Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit Trust benefits
program as a quasi-municipal entity, and
WHEREAS, Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit
Trust requires that a city member of the Association of Washington Cities i
(AWC) Employees Benefit Trust sponsor a non-city entity's request before the
non-city entity can participate in the Association of Washington Cities (AWC)
employee Benefit Trust benefit program.

NOW THEREFORE., THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
RESOLVE THAT:
Section 1. The City of Auburn, with this resolution, sponsors Water
District #111's request for application to join the Association of Washington
Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit Trust as a non-city entity.
Section 2. The City of Auburn requests that Water District #111 be
allowed membership into the Association of Washington Cities (AWC)
Employee Benefit Trust as a non-city entity.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of
this legislation.
