HomeMy WebLinkAbout2239 f 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 2 3 9 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT A 4 DEED OF DEDICATION FROM PUGET SOUND POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY CONVEYING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE USED FOR RECREATIONAL 5 PURPOSES. 6 7 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A 8 REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT; 9 Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of 10 Auburn, Washington, are hereby authorized to accept a Deed of 11 Dedication from PUGET SOUND POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY conveying certain property to be used for recreational purposes. A copy 12 13 of said Deed of Dedication is attached hereto, designated as 14 Exhibit "A" , and incorporated herein. 15 Section 2. PO Box 97034 / L /I Bellevue, WA 98009-9734 U -1 Re: Deed of Dedication and Easement/ .zed White River Trail System - Dear Mr. Bressler: In response to your letter to Leonard Chapman, Parks & Recreatioti Director, this letter provides you with land use documents and information regarding the transfer of property for the White River Trail System. As authorized by the Auburn City Council on October 7, 1991, Resolution Noorizes the acceptance of a Deed of Dedication from Puget Sound Power and Li' ht_Campany-conveying property to the City for recreational purposes. The area in linear feet of the property Puget Power is conveying to the City of Auburn is 630. At the same meeting the Council adopted Resolution No. 2240 authorizing an easement conveying property to Puget Sound Power and I Light Company for an electric transmission and/or distribution systems over and/or under the easement area. According to your instructions I am transmitting two executed originals of a Deed of Dedication which require approval and acceptance by Puget Sound Power & Light. In addition, enclosed please find two originals of the easement including Exhibit A that have been notarized and approved by the City of Auburn. Once Puget Sound Power & Light Company has fully executed the Deed, you offered to record the easement along with the Deed of Dedication with King County Records & Elections. Once recorded, return an original deed and easement to me for appropriate filing. - .
