Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 2:05 pm.
Tree board members attending were Chair Bryce Landrud, Members: Marsha Goodwin, Brooksie Donna
Hall, ]an Speer, James Tourangeau. Also present at the meeting were Parks Planning & Development
Manager Jamie Kelly, Parks Horticulturist Richard Valenti and Parks Secretary Julie Mehl.
II, Minutes
The March 2015 minutes were unanimously approved.
III. Correspondence /Public Input
The board discussed the homeless situation in Auburn and the upcoming Clean Sweep event.

VI. Board Recommendations /Input
The board reviewed the Urban Tree Board work plan and discussed social media as a way to
communicate with the public and advertise for new members.
The board discussed having a booth at the Auburn International Farmer's Market this summer.
VII. Department Report
The link to the Parks Survey will be emailed to all board members, Jamie asked all to complete.
The Arbor Day tree planting will be held at Les Gove Park on Thursday, April 16 at 11:00 am. A 2.5
caliper Stewartia tree has been ordered for the event.
VIII. Adjournment
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 pm.
