I. Call to Order
The Urban Tree Board met at Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation at 2:00 pm.
Tree board members attending were Chair Bryce Landrud, Members: Marsha Goodwin, Brooksie Donna
Hall, James Tourangeau. Not present/unexcused Jan Speer. Also present at the meeting were Parks
Planning & Development Manager Jamie Kelly, Parks Horticulturist Richard Valenti and Parks Secretary
Julie Mehl.
The board went on a field trip to the following:
- Viewed the two neighborhood grant locations
- Viewed tree that was removed for safety reasons at 10 G St SE
- Discussed potential neighborhood tree grant on G St SE and surrounding area streets
II. Minutes
Did not review / approve minutes from April, as today's meeting was a field trip.
III. Correspondence/ Public Input
The board viewed two maple trees on the Olympic Middle School property and a beech tree at Auburn
Dance & Music Center. They were considered for Heritage status.
