2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
3 A PARCEL OF LAND 4290 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF "A" STREET N.F. AND 3RD STREET N.E., WITHIN THE CITY Of AUBURN,
4 WASHINGTON� CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM R-4 TO C-1.
5 WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
6 Auburn, Washington, by HELMUT DEISSLER. requesting the rezoning of the real
7 property he'reinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
8 was dated June 22, 1982; and
9 WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
10 Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
13
petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on August 3, 1982,
14
at 7:30 P.M. , at the conclusion of which the Planning Cortunission recortrtnended
15
the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
16
WHEREAS, the Gity Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
17
in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall , at 8:00 P.M. on September 7,
18
1982, at which time the City Council concurred with the recortunendations of the
19
Planning Co�nission as hereinabove stated.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
21 -
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the fallowing legally described property located on a
23
parcel of land 4290 square feet in size located at the northeast corner of °A"
24
Street N.E. and 3rd Street N.E., situate in the City of Auburn, County of
25
King, State of Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-4
26
(Multi-Family) to C-1 (Light Cortonercial), to-wit:

Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive. Zoning Map of the City

of Auburn, Washington, encompassing this Zoning use classification change,

be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 3. That the City Clerk for the City of Auburn, Wash9ngton, is
5
hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with
6
the King County Auditor:..
7
Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-
8
tive procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this
9
legislation.

Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
11
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
