3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF AUBURN WAY NORTH IN THE 4500
4 BLOCK, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO R-4 (MULTI-FAMILY).

6 WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
q Auburn, Washington, by WILLIAM AND MARIE NASH, requesting the rezoning of the
8 real property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which
g petition was dated April 20, 1982; and
10 WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
11 Cortmiission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, the Planning Cortenission based upon staff review, held a public
14 hearing to consider said petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City
15 Hall, on November 2, 1982, at 7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which the
16 Planning Cortunission recommended the approval of the rezoning of the said pro-
17 perty based upon the following findings of the Department of Planning and
18 Cormnunity Development, to-wit:
19 1. Consistent with zoning in area.
2� 2. Consistent with proposed land uses in area.
21 3. R-4 zoning will not be more detrimental to the proposed uses in the
area.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing in
23
the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on December 6,
24
1982, at which time the City Council concurred with the find9ngs of the
25 .
Department of Planning and Cormnunity Development and Planning Commission as
26
27 hereinabove stated; and
� 28 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
29 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
30 Section 1. That the following legally described property located on the
31 east side of Aub.urn Way North in the 4500 block, situate in the City of

1 Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned
2 from Unclassified to R-4 (Multi-Family) , to-wit:
3 The E� of the N 90 ft of Lot 32; tgw the E� of the S 106.38 ft of Lot
33; White River Valley Home Tracts, Second Addition situate in Sec
4 31, Twp 22 N, R 5 EWM City of Auburn, County of King, State of
. Washington.

Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the City
6
of Auburn, Washington, encompassing this Zoning use classification change, be
7
and the same is hereby approved.

Section 3. That future development of this site to an R-4 density will
9
require the provision of vehicular access to appropriate city standards.
10
Section 4. That the City Clerk for fhe City of Auburn, Washington, is
11
hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with
12
the King County Auditor.

Section 5, The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-
14
tive procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this
15
legislation.

Section '6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
17
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
