Home My WebLink About3203 U.� -__ ORDINANCE NO 3 2 0 3 �� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO ~ AN EXISTING SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF APART- -'- MENTS ON A PARCEL OF LAND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 23RD STREET S E ,_; BETWEEN "D" AND "F" STREET S E , WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN _S -` WHEREAS, a petition dated July 14, 1977, together with plot plans and c; exterior elevations therefor has been submitted to the Council of the City of �.� ^' Auburn, by CARL and VIOLA A LEMKE, requesting an amendment to an existing 0 ° Special Property Use Permit which would allow the construction of eight (8) single story four plex units, reducing the density from 84 units to 32 units , ��.., "' also to change design and have separate ownership of said four plexes per the — requirements of City of Auburn Zoning Ordinance No 1702 as amended, Chapter 11 16 015, Sub-section (3-H) , Dwelling , duplexes and Multi-Family, located on the south side of 23rd Street Southeast, between "D" and "F" Streets Southeast, which property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, and WHEREAS, said request above referred to was referred by the City Council to the Gity Planning Commission for study and public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the request in the Les Gove Park Community Center at 7 30 P M on August 2, 1977, and subsequent thereto the City Planning Commission approved the issuance of the amendment to the existing Special Property Use Permit, finding that the proposed use illustrated by the site development plans of the petitioner would not be unduly detrimental to the adjacent and surrounding properties and the enjoyment thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Gouncil of the City of Auburn held a public hearing to consider said petition in the temporary coun,cil chambers in the Auburn School District Administration Building at 8 00 P M on September 6, 1977, at the conclusion of which the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS ------------------ Ordinance No 3203 �e� f� 1126 ��i '�'� Page One 9-7-77 RECOfto�U nC aEC,i�G, 6 � � � � y Reco�d aacl ra�ura �p � A} Ri,hurq �'e� � �i4" SrrrF� 11JW' ' r$u6urn W,�yn�nq(oa 98(ll� Section 1 That an amendment to the existing Special Property Use Permit be granted for the purpose of constructing eight (8) single story four plex units, reducing the density from 84 units to 32 units , also to change design and have separate ownership of said four plexes per the requirements of City of Auburn Zoning Ordinance No 1702 as amended , Ghapter 11 16 015, Sub-Section (3-H) , Dwelling, duplexes and Multi-Family, located on the following described property, �� to-wit N � � The S 1/2 of the W 1/2 of the N 1/2 of the S 1/2 of the �, SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec 19, Twp 21 N, R 5 EWM in — King Co , Wash EXCEPT the E 145 00 ft thof, AND EXCEPT F� that por thof conveyed to the City of Auburn for street �a purposes by deed recorded under Auditor's File No 6066546 in accordance with the plot plans and exterior elevations for said development submitted with the request for the amendment to the existing Special Property Use Permit, a copy of which is attached hereto, designated as Exhibit "A" and by tfiis reference made a part hereof as though set forth in full herein Section 2 That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County Auditor's Office Section 3 That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law INTRODUCED SEPTEMBER 19, 1977 PASSED SEPTEMBER 19, 1977 APPROVED SEPTEMBER 19, 1977 OR ATTEST �� C y Clerk APPROtlIED AS TO FORM �� ; �� ; t-� ;..
