,� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
, A PARCEL OF LAND 1 3 ACRES IN SIZE LYING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 8TH
', STREET NORTHEAST APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET EAST OF AUBURN WAY NORTH,
_� WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFI-
—� CATION THEREOF FROM R-2 TO R-4

WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
� Auburn, Washington, by DEAN M CHAUSSEE and WM W BERNBECK, requesting the
�
° rezonin of the real ro ert hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance,
�-, 9 P P _ Y
which petition was dated August 8, 1977; and
�� WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
__ Corrunission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition at the Les 6ove Park Community Center Building , in the City of Auburn,
on September 7, 1977, at 7 30 P M , at the conclusion of which the Commission
recommended the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the temporary Council Chambers at the Auburn School District Administration
Building, at 8 00 P M on October 3, 1977, at which time the City Council concurred
with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated ;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section ,l That the following described property located on a parcel of
land 1 3 acres in size lying on the north side of 8th Street N E approximately
200 feet east of Auburn Way North, situate in the City of Auburn, County of King,
State of Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-2 (Single Family) to
R-4 (Multi-Family) , to-wit
Lots 53;54,55,56, Blk 14, C D Hillman's Auburndale
Addition Div #2 as rec in Vol 12 of Plats , pg 92,
Records of King Co Wash situate in Section 7, Twp
21 N, R 5 EWM City of Auburn, County of King, State
of Washington

Section 2 That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
City of Auburn, encompassing this zoning use classification change, which amend-
ment is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby approved
Section 3 That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby authorized
and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the King County
Auditor's Office
Section 4 That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law
