the agenda. Scheduled meetings of the Auburn Advisory Board are as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AUBURN WASHINGTON APPROVING A LOGO FOR
THE AUBURN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Aubum Municipal Airport has been in existence as a public
general aviation airport since 1969; and
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn is the airport owner (sponsor) of record of the
Aubum Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the Auburn Municipal AirpoR accommodates a wide variety of
aeronautical activity, including small single and multi-engine aircraft, civilian helicopters,
and occasional business class turbine alrcraft; and,
WHEREAS, the Auburn Municipal Airport has several commercial tenants
providing aircraft maintenance and other services; and,
WHEREAS, Airport Advisory Board is an volunteer advisory body to the Aubum
City Council whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Auburn and confirmed by
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board provides advisory input and information
to the Mayor of Auburn and Aubum City Council on a variety of airport related issues
and concems; and,
WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board has investigated the development of a
logo for the Auburn Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board held several duly advertised meetings
between the months of February 2016 and May 2016 to discuss and review different
logo design options developed by City staff; and,
WHEREAS, on May 25, 2016, the Airport Advisory Board reached consensus on
the preferred airport logo design for the Auburn Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, on June 14, 2016, the Airport Advisory Board voted to recommend
to the City Council its acceptance and approval of the preferred airport logo design.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Aanroval and Utilization of New Airaort Los�o. The logo for the
Aubum Municlpal Airport as shown in Exhibit "A" is hereby approved and shall be the
official logo of the Aubum Municipal Airport and shall be utilized in all airport related
marketing, branding and public communication efforts.
Section 3. Imalementatlon. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to take
necessary steps and actions to implement the utilization of the airport logo authorized
by this Resolution.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon passage and signatures hereon.
