I. CALL TO ORDER
The Human Services Committee meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm on Monday,
June 27, 2016 at 1 East Main Street, Auburn, WA
Committee Members oresent: Barbara Derda,Jason Berry,JoAnne Walters„ Maryelyn Scholz, Dana
Reil and Leticia Ostos
Absent: Lela Brugger
Staff oresent: Human Services Manager Erica Azcueta
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
• Member Barbara Derda moved to accept the May 23, 2016 minutes;
Member JoAnne Walters seconded the motion. All committee
members were in favor of adopting the minutes as submitted.
The May 23, 2016 minutes were approved.
III. AGENDA
• Miscellaneous
The first round of applicants for 2017-18 Human Services Funds
completed oral presentations. Presentations were 15 minutes long
including 5 minutes for a brief description of the program/agency and 10
minutes of question and answer Presenters inciuded agencies from:
Apprenticeship & Non-traditional Employment for Women (ANEV1�,
Chiidren's Therapy Center, Treehouse, King County Bar Association and
Courage 360
IV ANNOUNCEMENTS
The next Human Services Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday,
July 27, 2016. Presentations from Auburn Pregnancy Aid, Communities in
Schools, Camp Korey, Eastside Legal Assistance, Full Life Care and St
Stephens Housing will be held.
V ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
