CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Hurlbut called the meeting to order at 3:33 pm. II. APPROVAL MINUTES: Approval of September 13,2016 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes. FIRST` Kelly SECQND: Harris CONCUR: Hurlbut APPROVED III. ENTRY LEVEL POUCE OFFICER: Review and approval of the Entry Level Police Dfficer eligibility list. -_ FIRST: Kelly SECOND: Harris CONCUR: Hurlbut APPROVED IV. POLICE COMMANDER: Review and extention of the Police Commander eligibility list. FIRS,T.� Kelly SECON�: Harris CONCUR: Hurlbut APPROVED V. UPDATES/NEW BUSINESS: Chairman Hurlbut asked how many current vacancies we have.Chief Lee said that we currenly have 3 vacancies.The police department also recently received budget approval for 6 more officer positions as of January 1,2017.Chairman Hurlbut then asked about the Academy and if we were still having trouble getting our recruits in quickly.Chief Lee said we normally don't have to wait more than 4 weeks.There are currently 18 academy classes scheduled for 2017. Right now,we have 7 recruits from APD in the academy. VI.
