I. CALLTO ORDER: Chairman Hurlbut called the meeting to order at 3:37 pm.
II. APPROVAL MINUTES: Approval of November 8, 2016 Civil 5enrice Commission meeting minutes.

V. UPDATES/NEW BUSINE55: Linda informed the commission that since Janelle is sick, we wiil push the
update on the Divers'ity and Recruitment program.Chairman Hurlbut inquired about our current vacancies.
Assistant Chief Pierson informed him that with the 6 new positons added in January we are looking to hire
about 7-8 officers in 2017.The timeline for academy daterha4e improved and we normally only have to
wait about 1 month to get a candidate into a class.The budget for WACJTC has increased and they are able
to offer more classes this upcoming year.
