• Gapon Monument- Mr. Gapon selected a monument. Chris Green�from PCM
gave him a good deal on tihe monument,a little over $6,000.:The cemetery
a�an�t ma$e any money on the granite but made money when adding
pictures, addiGonal inscriptions and setting fee. Everyone seems to'be happy
with the results. Family would like to have it set by August.27. Ttris
monument is a large one, maximum width, ' �
+ Old Equipment-Any equipment $5,000 or less can be discarded. Craig
would like to free up some room.in the old shop by getting rid of some line
tripim.ers, hand mowe;s arid equipment that has been kept around. Parts

that are still gaod willbe taken off the old equipment for'.future`replacement
parts. "

• 2015 Cremation Rate -In 2015 the Puget;Sound area including King County
cretnation rate versus traditional burial'was 76%, Cemetery cremation rate - .
in 2015 was 54%. The:least:exgensive option at the cemetery fortraditional
burial is about $4,600 plus memorialization of around $1;500 versus
cremation of$2;800 including the ma=ker.
• Cuirent Existing Inventory-Ground burial plots 1,658, cremation plots 432

(includes ForestWalk & the urn garden) and niches available; inclitding ttie
new eagle columbarium 811. The ForestWalk is an area that can be �
expanded. Ther"e i§ an eagle scout project where the cemetery will provide

• Knotweed - There is a problem with kriotweed cl,ose to ForestWalk: This is.
sitnilar to baiii600 and very hard to kill. TruGreen w'ill spray it 2 or 3 times a
yeaz.
• Tree House in Cemetery Property - Recently a neighbor stsrted 6uilding a
tree house in cemetery property: Craig was information about it and quickly ,
contacted the person: Craig a.nd Jamie Kelly from Parks.inet with kiim an3
they cazne to an agreement to remove the construcfion;materials and tools
out of cemetery property.
• Granite or Bronze Sign - After presenting the proof for the gsanite §ign
"Markers Should Be Made 0ut Of Granite Or Bronze" board membess
suggested to have the mountain made out of bronze. Craig will contact Chris j
' Green to make that change.. The size of the sign is 60"x8TRJ1�4A.
