Call to O;der. The meeting was called to orderat�2:05 pm by Warren Olson

enough members to have an board. No minutes to review.
Old Busiaess:
• Seasonal-Employees=Twb seasonal employees were hired earlier this year
after renegotiating contract with Teamsters Uriion..They will be helping in ,
the Memory Heights where the�irrigazion and turf is in and, some of the
landscap'sng. Theie are a couple trees to take down, paye the entrance way

and some landscaping to the gateway/entrance way. Thi§ section will:have
LJprigHfs along the rock wall. Also, there is a need to do some fencing.
Seasonal employees will help getting all of these done and ready to start
selling in the Spring.
• Memory Heights-This 5ection has a beaufiful view of`the mountain. It has
approacimately 650 traditional plots. Expected to be ready before Memorial
Day. Maps will be developed for this area similar So Memory Meadows.
• New Pricelists- Prices were increased in February 2017. Plots in the 9?b

o Pioneer Cemetery- Still an active cemeYery, witki about 2-3 urn placements a
` year. The cemetery re.ceiyed a grant (about $20;000). Some of the money was

The chapel is loeked at night.
•- New Off ce Updates =Accordion doors;'will be replaced with glass doors. Tfiis,
update will allow families to meet;in private wkiile another family is waiting.
The doors will be batn style with frosted glass and.the IVlountain View Logo.
Granite counter tops will be put in the baek office. Also, a couple riew fle
cabinets were.ordered ta replace the older ones.

about making an,entrance to the Memory Heights and other area"s around.

• Budget Update -2016 T.otal revenue was;$1.4 million, 281 total:placements
(which hasn't happened since 2008). January 2016 revenue $90 thousand
and Januaiy 2017 $120 thousand. Families from Renton; Puyallup, Tacoma
' have come to the cemetery to purchase pTots. The cemetery is also doing a
better job working with funeraT homes and they are sending fainilies. Weeks :
in Enumclaw referred a family fo the cemetery who purchased a fewplots'in
the Forest Walk including a monubench.
