AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING
THE CITY'S MEMBERSHIP IN THE AUBURN AREA GHAMBER OF

COMMERCE AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR DUES FOR SUCH

MEMBERSHIP, IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND TWO FiUNDRED
AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($1,225.), FOR THE 2002 PROGRAM YEAR;
AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO IMPLEMENT TI-1E APPROVED
MEMBERSHIP AND EXPENDITURE.
WHEREAS, membership in community and professional organizations is
consistent with the practices of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to participate in fhe Aubum Area Chamber
of Commerce as a full member; and
WHEREAS, such membership is consistent vvith the economic
deVelopment actiVities of the City;
NOW THEREFORE THE GITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING`
SECTION 1. Membershin for 2002 Year. The City Council of the
City of Auburn hereby approves the City of Auburn becoming a full member of
the Aubum Area Chamber of Commerce.
� SECTION 2. Membership Budqet. The City Council of the City of
Auburn hereby approves the appropriation of One Thousand, Two Hundred
Resolution 3426

and Twenfy Five Dollars ($1,225) to pay for dues to set up costs associated
with membership in the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce:
SECTION 3; Imalementation:. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedu�es as may be necessary to carry out the
direcfions of this legislation,
