AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROYING
THE GITY`S MEMBERSHIP IN TWE AUBURN DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION �
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR DUES FOR SUCH MEMBERSHIP, IN
THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,200),
FOR THE 2002 PROGRAM YEAR; AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
IMPLEMENT THE APPROVED MEMBERSHIP AND EXPENDITURE.
WHEREAS, membership in community and professional organizafions is
consistent with the practices of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Cify desires to participate in the Aubum Downtown
Association as a full memb.er; and
WHEREAS, such membership is consistent with the economic
development activities of the City;
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING:
SECTION 1. Membership for 2002 Yea�. The City Council of the
City ofiAubum hereby approves #he Gity ofAubum becoming a full memberof
the Auburn Downtown Association.
SECTION 2. Membersh'ip Budqet. The City Council of the City of
Aubum hereby approves fhe appropriafion of One Thousand, Two Hundred
Resolution 3427

Dollars ($1,200) to pay for dues associatetl with membership in the Auburn
Downtown Association.
SECTION 3: Implementation. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the
directions of this legisiation.
