HomeMy WebLinkAbout3327 RESOLUTIOM NO. 3 3 2 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN; KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT AND,THE CITY OF AUBURN FOR THE DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN MOBILE DATA TERMINALS (MDT'S) I,N EXCHANGE FOR CERTAIN RIFLES. THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEM.BLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT: Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn are herewith authorized to execute an Agreement between the Racifc Police Department and the City of Auburn for the disposition of Mobile Data Transmitters (MDT's)which have been replaced by laptop computers but can be suceessfully used by fhe Pacific Police Department. In exchange the Pacific Police Department will give the City of Auburn 2 Olympic Arms AR15 Rifles. A copy of said Agreement is attached hereto and denominated exhibit "A" and ineorporated herein. Section_2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. REYNOLDS GITY ATTORNEY Resolution No. 3327 February 14, 2001 Page 2 DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY AGREEMENT FOR THE TRAIVSFER OF MDTS WITH SERIAL NOS.�314SVW0012, 314SVG0727, 314SVW0011, 523SUS0053, 314SVG0729 AND 314SVW0008 IN EXCHANGE FOR OLYMPIC ARMS AR15 RIFLES NOS, JJ1503 AND JJ1693 Pursuant to the Disposition of Property Aet6 codified as RCW 39.33, this Agreement is made and entered into fihe day specified below by and between the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation in the Sate of Washington, Situated in King County, Washington, Hereinafter referred to as "AUBURN", ` and the PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT, situated in King County, Washington. Section 1. PURPOSE. r AUBURN has six (6) MDT's with Serial Numbers 314SVW0012, 314SVG0727, 314SVW0011, 523SUS0053, 314SVG0729 AND 314SVW0008 which have been replaced with laptop computers and are ;no longer of use to the Auburn Police Department, but can be successfully used by the PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT. In exchange PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT will give two (2) Olympic Arms AR15 Rifles, Serial Numbers JJ1503 and JJ1693 to , the Auburn Police Department. AUBURN is, thus, desirous of transferring said MDTs to the PACIFIC POLIGE DEPARTMENT in exchange for said rifles, as provided in RCW 39.33.010. AUBURN hereby agrees to transfer to the PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT the six (6) MDT's with Serial Numbers 314SVW0012, 314SVG0727, 314SVW0011, 523S1JS0053, 314SVG0729 AND 314SVW0008 in exchange for two (2) Olympic Arms AR15 Rifles, Serial Numbers JJ1503 and JJ1693. The PACIFIC POLICE DEPARTMENT agrees to pick up and remove said MDTs from the AUBURN POLICE DEPARTMENT and deliver the said rifles.
