HomeMy WebLinkAbout3344 RESOLUTION NO. 3 3 4 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNGIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN; WA.SHINGl'ON, AUTHORIZING TME MAYOR OF AUBURN TO AWARD NEIGHBORHOOD MATCHING GRANTS TO SELECTED APPLICANTS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn appropriated funds in its Year 2001 General Fund budget for the purpose of Neighborhood Matching G�ants; and WHEREAS, the City's Department of Planning and Community Development received several p�oposed grants from prospective applicants; and WHEREAS, these grant applications were reviewed by city staff and the City ofAuburn's Human Services Committee in accordance fo the management memorandum approved by the Mayorand City Council of Aubum; and WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee forwarded their recommendation for funding to the Mayor of Auburn who, in tum, concurs with them and submits them for the City Council's review and approval. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLYES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Resolutiorr is to autho�ize the Mayor of the Gity of Au.burn, Washington, to award Neighborhood Matching ( ---------------------- Resolution 3344 March 29, 2001 Page 1 Grants to selected applicants. A copy of Neighborhood Matching Grants selected applicants as set forth in Exhibit "1" is attached hereto and incorporated here.in by this reference, Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out fhe directives of this legislation. Dated and Signed this 2nd day of April, 2001.
