HomeMy WebLinkAbout3454 RESOLUTION NO. 3 4 5 4 _ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF AUBURN TO AWARD NEIGHBORHOOD MATCHING GRANTS TO SELECTED APPLICANTS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City`of Auburn appropriated funds in its Year 2002 General Fund budget for the purpose of Neighborhood Matching Grants; and WHEREAS, the City's Department of Planning and Community Development received several proposed grants from prospective applicants; and WHEREAS, these grant appliaations were reviewed by city staff and the City of Aubucn's Human Services Committee in accordance to the management memorandum approved by the Mayor and City Council of Auburn; and WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee forwarded their recommendation for funding to the Mayor of Aubum who, in turn, concurs with them and submits them for the City CouneiPs review and approvaL NOW THEREFORE, THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Resolution 3454 April 3,2002 Page 1 Section_1. PU.RPOSE. The purpose of this Resolution is to authorize the Mayor of the City of Auburn, Washington, to award Neighborhood Matching Grants to selected applica.nts. A copy of Neighborhood Matching Grants selected applicants as set forth in Exhibit= "1� is attached hereto arid incorporated herein by this reference. Se.ction2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation, Dated and Signed this 15�' day of April, 2002.
