CALL- TO ORDER Ghair Isaiah Johnson, called the meeting to order at 4:02 P.M. in the City of Auburn Conference Room 3 located on the second floor of City Hall, 25 W. Main Street, Auburn WA. Committee members present were: Isaiah Johnson, Terry Hurlbut, Ronnie Beyersdorf, and Nancy Colson. Staff members present included: Director of Human Resources/Risk Management Rob Roscoe, Compensation/Employee Relations Manager Aaron Barber, and Human Resources Assistant Melissa Medisch. II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the February 21, 2017, meeting were reviewed. It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes as submitted, followed by a unanimous vote. III. DISCUSSION The comparable information emailed to each committee member prior to the meeting was reviewed. The meeting was open for discussion. At the last meeting, the committee approved a finro percent (2%) increase, which aligned with the Unaffiliated increase for 2017, with potential adjustments based on the findings of the comparable information. The committee believes fhat Auburn is in the right place and compensating fairly compared to other local jurisdictions. It was moved and seconded to accept the report as provided, and proceed with the finro percent (2%) increase approved at the last meeting. The councilmembers' monthly salaries will be one thousand two hundred forty eight dollars and forty eight cents ($1,248.48), and the Deputy Mayor's compensation will be one thousand six hundred sixty four dollars and sixty four cents ($1,664.64).
