What is the Auburn
Comprehensive Plan?
The Comprehensive Plan is the
long-range policy document that
guides the City's future growth
and development.
5 aueta
—_ -- —
___ ___
Why is the Comprehensive Plan
So Important?
• State Law requires that Auburn accommodate anticipated
population growth
The City must add 9,600 housing units in the next 25 years
• That means that by 2040, Auburn can expect approximately
24,000 new people to join its community.
• That's a roughly 33% increase in total housing units and
Auburn citizens!
