CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of November 12, 2013
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on November 12, 2013 in
Conference Room 2 located on the Second floor of 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The following
members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson and Member Hurlbut
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant Chief Pierson, Civil Service Secretary/Examiner Gail Cannon, Assistant City
Attorney Doug Ruth, Employment Mgr. Geri Hibben
STAFF ABSENT: Chairman Gene Cerino, Chief Lee
ACTION:
Member Hurlbut called the meeting to order at 3:33 pm.
Approval of the, October 8, 2013 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Motion to approve meeting minutes made by Member Terry Hurlbut; Second by Chairman Pro
Tem Thordarson
• Motion approved.
Approval of the REVISED November 6, 2013 Entry Level Police Eligibility List:
• Motion by Member Hurlbut, Second by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson
Eligibility list approved.
Approval of the REVISED lune 1, 2013 Sergeant Police Eligibility List:
• Motion by Member Hurlbut, Second by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson
Eligibility list approved.
Approval of the October 11, 2013 Commander Police Eligibility List:
• Motion by Member Hurlbut, Second by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson
Eligibility list approved.
Approval of the REVISED November 1, 2013 Commander Police Eligibility List:
