AN ORDINANCE approving and accepting, on behalf of the City of
Auburn, a written deed of conveyance from Joe Inman, et al, dated
September 7, 1943, for public street and highway purposes, for the
purpose of extending K Street N. E., in the City of Auburn.
THE CITY COUNC11, OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That 'that certain written deed of conveyance, dated
September 7, 1943 , wherein Joe Inman and Juanita i. Inman, his wife,
David A. hotting and Ruby S. .Rotting, his wife, Harold L. Clark and
Olive A. Clark, his wife, and Thomas G. Sutherland and Leela -oore
Sutherland, his wife, are grantors, and the City of Auburn is grantee,
and whereby the grantors therein convey and quit claim to the City of
Auburn, for public street and highway purposes, and for such use only,
that certain tract of land, situated in the City of Auburn, in the
County of king, State of Viashington, particularly described as follows,
to -wit:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot One,(1), in Block 3,
of t'rench's N'irst Addition to the 'Town of Slaughter, as the
same appears on the recorded plat thereof now of record in
the County Auditor's Office of Ting County, T;vashington, in
Volume 5 of 'tats, at page 53, running thence southerly in
a straight line a distance of 720 feet, more or less, to the
Northeast corner of i,ot 20, in Block 9 , of said Addition;
thence Vast 60 feet to the Northwest Corner of Lot 10, in
Block 8 of said addition; thence northerly in a straight line
a distance of 720 feet, more or less, to a point on the south
marginal line of 4th Street N. E., in the City of Auburn,
which point is 60 feet easterly from the point of beginning,
thence west to beginning, to become a part of K Street N. E,.,
in the City of Auburn;
and which deed of conveyance has been tendered by said grantors to the
City �f .Auburn, be and the same hereby is approved and accepted by the
City of .Auburn.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be and he hereby is instructed to
file said written deed of conveyance for record with the County auditor
of king County, Washington, and that the land so conveyed by said written
deed of conveyance shall constitute a continuation of k Street N. E.
