HomeMy WebLinkAbout5464 RESOLUTION NO. 5464 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE MODIFICATION OF THE 2020-2025 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF AUBURN WHEREAS, RCW 35.77.010 requires that the legislative body of each City prepare and adopt a comprehensive Transportation Improvement Program for the ensuing six years, but only after conducting a public hearing; and WHEREAS, a public hearing to review the 2020-2025 Transportation Improvement Program for the City of Auburn was held on October 21, 2019 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, pursuant to notice published in the legal newspaper of the City of Auburn on October 17, 2019. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RESOLVES as follows: Section 1. The modifications to the 2020-2025 comprehensive Transportation Improvement Program are adopted, which will be in substantial conformity with the attached Exhibit "A." Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 3. Progress Summary: Portions of this project are anticipated to be constructed with a development project.The remaining portions would be constructed by the City and/or with other future development projects. Progress Summary: Grant funding for the design and construction phases was awarded from Sound Transit in 2019. Future Impact on Operating Budget: There is no impact to the street maintenance budget.
