I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Nancy Backus called the meeting to order at 9:12 a.m. in the Council
Chambers of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street in Auburn.

The City Council Meeting was held virtually in the Council Chambers.
B. Roll Call
Councilmembers virtually present: Deputy Mayor Claude DaCorsi, Larry
Brown, James Jeyaraj, Robyn Mulenga, Chris Stearns and Yolanda Trout-
Manuel. Councilmember Bob Baggett arrived at 11:08 a.m.
Mayor Nancy Backus and the following staff member were present: Equity
Program Manager Brenda Goodson-Moore.
II. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Inclusive Auburn Initiative Training for City Council
Inclusive Auburn Initiative Training
Bernardo Ruiz, Racing to Equity Consulting Group
Mayor Backus introduced Bernardo Ruiz and Ms. Hoover with Racing to
Equity Consulting Group, who facilitated session two of the Auburn
Inclusive Initiative training.
Council discussed racial equity, implicit bias, institutional and structural
racism and community engagement.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
was adjourned at 1:12 p.m.
