AN ORDINANCE. OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, MODIFYING AUBURN CODIFIED
ORDINANCE NO. 8.18.010 (Sidewalks Reserved to Use by
Pedestrians) TO PERMIT BICYCLES ON THE SIDEWALK.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS.:
Section 1 . Auburn Codified Ordinance No. 8.18.010 be amended to
read as follows: "All sidewlaks in the public streets , alleys and places
in the City of Auburn, for the full width thereof, are exclusively for the
use of pedestrians,, and shall be used for no other purpose whatsoever except
as hereinafter provided and except for the use of bicycles. "
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided
by law.

of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in the County of King,
State of Washington, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of ORDINANCE No. 2983 of the ordinances of the City of Auburn,
entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, MODIFYING AUBURN CODIFIED
ORDINANCE NO. 8.18.010 (Sidewalks Reserved to Use by Pedestrians) TO PERMIT
BICYCLES ON THE SIDEWALK."
I further certify that said Ordinance No. 2983 was duly passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor. of the said City of Auburn and published as provided by
law in the Auburn Globe News, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Auburn, and
of general circulation therein, on the 18th day of March , A.D. , 19 76
