AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY
ORDINANCE 5.88.060 CHANGING THE PAYMENT DATE FOR THE AUBURN CITY
UTILITY TAX FROM A SEMI-ANNUAL TO A QUARTERLY PAYMENT BASIS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Auburn Codified City Ordinance 5.88.060 which reads as
follows:
"Tax - payment -returns. The tax imposed by Section 5.88.040 shall
be due and payable semi-annually on the 30th day of the month following
the end of each semi-annual period in each year; with the first semi-annual
payment payable on the 30th day of July, 1956. On or before the due date
the tax payer .shall file with the City Clerk a written return, upon such
form and setting forth such information as the Clerk shall reasonably require,
together with the payment of the amount of the tax. "
is. hereby amended to read as follows:
"Tax - payment - returns. The tax imposed by Section 5.88.040 shall be
due and payable quarterly on or before the last day of the month following the
end of each quarterly period in each year, with the first quarterly payment
payable on or before the last day in -October, `1976. On or before the due date
the tax payer shall file with the City Clerk a written return, upon such form
and setting forth such information as the Clerk shall reasonably require, to-
gether with thepayment of the amount of the tax. "
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

UTILITY TAX FROM A SEMI-ANNUAL TO A QUARTERLY PAYMENT BASIS."

and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn and published as provided by
law in the Auburn Globe News, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Auburn, and
