3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, TO
4 EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
OF THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND ORDER OF DISMISSAL IN MUCKLESHOOT
5 . TRIBE v. CITY OF AUBURN, ET AL, U.S. DISTRICT COURT NO. 472-72C2-V.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING
0 7 DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES THAT:
8 THE Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn, Washington, are herewith

9 authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed in accordance with the the require-
CD 10 ments of the Settlement Agreement and Order of Dismissal in Muckleshoot
Q11 Tribe v. City of Auburn, et al , U.S. District Court No. 472-72C2-V. A copy
12 of said Quit Claim Deed is attached to this Resolution and designated
13 Exhibit "A".
14 The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures
15 as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation.
16 DATED and SIGNED this 19th day of December, 1988.

C) 11 THE GRANTOR, THE CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation, for and in

12 consideration of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) and in accordance with the requirements
13 of the Settlement Agreement and Order of Dismissal in Muckleshoot Tribe v.
14 City of Auburn, et al , U.S. District Court No. 472-72C2-V, conveys and quit
15 claims to THE MUCKLESHOOT INDIAN TRIBE, the following described real estate,
16 situated in the County of King, State of Washington, including any interest
17 therein which grantor may hereafter acquire:
18 That portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 28, Township 21 North, Range 5 East,
19 W.M. ; together with that portion of the southeast quarter
of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 21 North,
20 Range 5 East, W.M. described as follows :
21 Beginning at the northwest corner of said southwest
quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 28; thence N
22 89-45-54 W, along the north boundary of said southeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 28, a
23 distance of 60.00 feet; thence S 00-09-54 W along a line
parallel with and 60.00 feet west, measured at right
24 angles, of the west boundary of said southwest quarter of
the southeast quarter of Section 28, a distance of 713.89
25 feet; thence S 89-45-54 E, 280.00 feet; thence N 00-09-54
E, 380.52 feet; thence N 18-48-39 W, 352.67 feet to the
26 north boundary of said northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 28; thence N 89-45-54 W, 105.32 feet
27 to the point of beginning.
