HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity of Auburn Fully Executed MOUMEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 13�tTiT1 �i'�► � CITY OF AUBURN AND THE CITY OF PUYALLUP WHEREAS, the City of Puyallup has received a grant from the Department of Commerce for the Tahoma Regional Task Force; WHEREAS, the grant is for the period of July, 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, WHEREAS, the grant allows for reimbursement for salaries to participating cities inorder to perform the activities of the Tahoma Regional Task Force; NOW THEREFORE, the City of Auburn (the City) and the City of Puyallup agree to the following: 1, For the period of 7/1/2021 to 6/30/22 the City has been allocated $15,906.40 from Department of Commerce Grant #F18-31440-009. Federal funding (CFDA 16.738). 2. The -City shall submit a quarterly invoice once this agreement has been fully executed. The invoice shall be mailed to; City of Puyallup, 333 S. Meridian, Puyallup, WA 98371, Attention: Dondi Koester, Accounting Manager. 3. The invoice shall Include: Officer's name, date of service and hours worked, rate of billing using the department's current rate, payroll reports and timesheets. 4. If the City does not submit the approprlate billings within 30 days of end of grant period, the City of Puyallup shall not be obligated to reimburse the City. 5. The funding does not include equipment. Equipment needs are the responsibility of the City. 6. The grant funding may not be sufficient to cover the entire fiscal year, in the event the funding Is depleted prior to the end of the fiscal year; the City of Puyallup will not be responsible for paying billings submitted following depletion of the funds. 7, By executing this Agreement, the City of Puyallup certifies that it Is not debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in Federal Assistant Programs under Executive Order 12549 "Debarment and Suspension". The City of Puyallup certifies that it will not contract with a subcontractor that is debarred or suspended. City also agrees to Single Audit Act Compliance which states, If the Public Agency or Non-profit Agency is a sub recipient of a federal award as Identified in this agreement, the Agency shall comply with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non -Profit Organizations. 9. This agreement shall be renewed upon continuation of grant funding and the new grant period shall apply to the beginning and end dates of the grant award. 10. Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. 11, The City certifies that work to be performed under this Agreement does not duplicate any work to be charged against any other contract, subcontract, or other funding, 12. COMMERCE= and the State of Washington are not liable for claims or damages arising from a subcontractor's performance of this subcontract, END OF AGREEMENT, SIGNATURE PAGE= IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING.
