In Person & Virtual Meeting
Call to Order
The Urban Tree Board meeting began at 2:15 pm
Tree board members attending were Board Chair Bryce Landrud, Members Linda Bielejec, Tanya Galat, and Brooksie Donna Hall. Also present at the meeting were Parks Planning Manager Jamie
Kelly, and Parks Secretary Julie Mehl.
Minutes
The November minutes were approved.
Correspondence/Public Input
Old Business
Tree City USA application has been submitted and Arbor Day celebration/tree planting will be at Les Gove Park on April 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at the South end of the park. Species tbd.
A Covid remembrance tree will be planted as well, considering a Weeping Willow or Tulip Tree.
V. New Business
Board Recommendations/Input
Bryce will accept the Heritage Tree Proclamation at the December 20 Auburn City Council meeting.
Bryce has been donating wood chips to the Game Farm Wilderness Campground Frisbee Golf Course.
