In Person & Virtual Meeting
I. Call to Order
The Urban Tree Board meeting began at 2:05 pm
Tree board members attending were Chair Bryce Landrud, members Tanya Galat, Linda Bielejec. Also
present at the meeting were Park Planning & Development Manager Thaniel Gouk and Administrative
Assistant Julie Mehl.

The board discussed the Sugar Maple on 112, will view as potential Heritage Tree at November
meeting. Will also view 30-50 Spruce trees at GSA property.
Bryce to take new photo of Chinese Empress Tree at Veterans Memorial Park to replace incorrect photo in
Heritage Tree list.

Tanya noted the Covid remembrance tree was planted too close to other trees near 12 St. The board
agrees it may need to be moved as Weeping Willow trees get very large.

Thaniel reports there will be new playground equipment installed at Auburndale and Fulmer parks. The

Cedar Lanes bike/pump track is in permitting process. 104 project is stalled in permitting process.
