RELATING TO C211A, RESERVOIR CORROSIO CONTROL COATING PROJECT /j/ THIS AMENDMENT is made and entered into this f day of February 2004, by and between the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington (hereinafter referred to as the "CITY"), and Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "CONSUL TANT"), as an Amendment to the Agreement between the parties for AG-C-170 executed on the 25th day of February 2002, and amended by agreement dated 24th day of February 2003. The changes to the agreement are described as follows: 1. CONTRACT TERM: The term of the Agreement for Professional Services is extended to July 31, 2004. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: See Exhibit A, attached and by this reference made part of this Agreement. 3. COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is $2,775.00. The total contract amount is increased to a total of $64,315.00. REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: That all other provisions of the Agreement between the parties for AG-C-170 executed on the 25th day of February 2002, and amended by agreement dated 24th day of February 2003, shall remain unchanged, and in full force and effect. Page 2 of 2 Exhibit A The Fee is based on providing the following services in connection with the warranty inspection of the Academy and Lea Hill Water Reservoirs. 1. Be present during the wet dive inspection of all three reservoirs, (2 - Academy, 1 - Lea Hill). During the live TV camera inspection participate in the monitor viewing, providing suggestions if necessary, on certain features inside the tank. Make special note of any coating defects so as to describe type, size and location inside the tank. 2. The exterior inspection of the Academy Reservoirs will be done the same day as the interior, using binoculars to look at questionable areas from either the ground or on top of the tank. Note any coating defects. Take digital photos as necessary. 3. Inspect the exterior security screening added to both Lea Hill Reservoirs. 4. Provide the City with an on-site verbal report followed within two or three days with two copies of a written report on all three tanks (interior/exterior of Academy and interior only of Lea Hill). Photos with captions, if applicable, will be included. It is anticipated that the interior inspection of each tank will take one day. Therefore a daily travel fee (mileage and time) is quoted at $205.00. An hourly rate of $90.00 shall be charged for onsite inspection and preparation of the report and photos. All costs for report preparation, including but not limited to materials, copying and delivery shall be covered by the hourly rate. The maximum number of hours of inspection and report preparation shall not exceed 24. The total fee shall not exceed $2,775.00 Amendment No.2 for Agreement No. AG-C-170
