A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND ADMINISTER
AGREEMENTS ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE
WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND FEDERAL HIGHWAY
ADMINISTRATION FOR THE LEA HILL ROAD/104TH
AVE SE ROUNDABOUT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City applied for, and has been awarded, a competitive grant to fund
the design phase of the Lea Hill Road/104th Ave SE Roundabout project (Project);
WHEREAS, the Project is included in the City's Transportation Improvement
Program (TIP) as Project#I-12;
WHEREAS, the grant funds awarded for the Project is approximately$476,000 and
the total local match required is approximately $84,000, which is available from collected
transportation impact fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor is authorized to execute and administer a grant agreement
with the Washington State Transportation of Transportation for a total of$476,000 or any
other amount authorized by WSDOT for the Projects as long as local matching funds are
available.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to negotiate, enter, and administer
agreements to spend the grant funds for the Projects, and to implement other
administrative procedures necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force on passage
and signatures.
