AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES AG-C-539
RELATING TO PROJECT NO. CP2110, AUBURN REGIONAL GROWTH CENTER
ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS
THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the
CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington (hereinafter referred to
as the “CITY”), and Transpo Group USA, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “PROVIDER”). The
City and Provider agree to amend the Agreement AG-C-539 executed on the 7th day of
September 2021.
The changes to the Agreement are described as follows:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES: See Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and by this reference made
part of this Amendment.
2. COMPENSATION: The amount of this amendment is $26,132.97. As total compensation for
the Provider’s performance of the services provided based on this Amended Agreement, the
City shall pay the Provider fees and costs not-to-exceed $428,048.97. See Exhibit B, which
is attached hereto and by this reference made part of this Agreement.
REMAINING TERMS UNCHANGED: All other provisions of the Agreement between the parties
for AG-C-539 executed on the 7th day of September 2021, shall remain unchanged, and in full
force and effect.

Exhibit A-2: Amendment to Agreement for Services
Client Name: City of Auburn
Project Name: Auburn Regional Growth Center Access Improvements
Original Agreement Dated: 09/07/21
Amendment Dated: 05/23/23 TG: 1.21091.00
The existing Agreement for Services between Transpo Group (Consultant) and City of Auburn (Client) is
amended to include the following additional services. All terms and conditions described in the Agreement
remain in force and are not modified by this Amendment.
Scope of Services
Task 02 – Data Gathering
B. Geotechnical Engineering
The Consultant is requesting a budget increase to complete geotechnical engineering, finalize the Auburn
RGC geotechnical engineering report, and provide a reevaluation of geotechnical recommendations
associated with traffic signal pole locations. The authorized budget for the original scope of services was
exceeded due to:
· Additional and unforeseen pre-exploration site reconnaissance work to adjust exploration locations
due to site constraints, utilities, subcontractor logistics;
· Preparation and attendance for a draft report comments resolution meeting; and,
· Reanalysis of the pavement section recommendations based on revised traffic counts and growth
rate data.
Additional geotechnical work is also needed for:
· Meeting with the Client and KPFF;
· Reevaluation of geotechnical recommendations associated with traffic signal pole foundation
designs; and,
· Updating draft geotech report to incorporate the applicable items above.
Task 08 – 90% Design
A. 90-percent-complete Plans
At the Client’s request following the 60% design submittal, the following additional scope items have been
added to the Consultant’s scope of services:
· Additional street improvements along the western half of Auburn Ave. south of 3rd Street NE, to
include:
o Replacing approximately 115’ of existing sidewalk
o Modifying the wing of one existing driveway
o Replacing approximately 60’ of existing roadway pavement
· Additional street improvements along the western half of B Street and including the intersection of
B Street and 3rd Street NE, to include:
o Replacing approximately 70’ of existing roadway pavement
o Sidewalk, planter strip, and curb/gutter restoration necessary to install new fire hydrant on
the northwest corner B Street/3rd Street NE
· Additional utility improvements along Auburn Avenue, to include:
o Reconstructing the 12” water main within Auburn Avenue to avoid conflicts with the Client’s
preferred stormwater design to include:

Plan/profile design details of approximately 20-30 LF of 12” water main to be
vertically reconstructed within Auburn Avenue is located approximately at station
17+25 to 17+50.
References to necessary Client details.
Updates to specifications and cost estimates.
· Additional utility improvements along B Street, to include:
o Reconstructing the water main within B Street within the areas of current work limits to
include:
Plan/profile design details of approximately 60 LF of water main to be
reconstructed within B Street.
References to necessary Client details.
Updates to specifications and cost estimates.
o Relocation of one fire hydrant including appropriate detail and callouts.
Assumptions:
· Full driveway replacement is not required.
· The added scope items will not require additional right of way acquisition and/or temporary
construction easement(s).
· Existing landscaping between the back of sidewalk and adjacent parking lot will not be impacted.
· Overhead utilities within the area of sidewalk replacement will not be undergrounded.
· Existing utility lids within the new sidewalk and pavement areas will only require minor vertical
adjustments to finished grade.
· Pothole data will be provided by the Client.
· The curb existing curb ramp at the northwest corner of B Street/3rd Street NE intersection will not
be impacted by project improvements and does not require replacement.
Task 09 – 100% Design and Final PS&E
A. 100-percent-complete Plans
The Consultant will incorporate the additional design elements described in this Amendment into the Final
plans, project specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate.

The Consultant will incorporate the additional design elements described in this Amendment into the Final
