B .A J C C's L ast Meeting Before Summer Break
L ast Meeting will be J une 22nd? S tart Meeting earlier that day at 6pm?
C.A J C C Attendees for P ride at A uburn Farmer's Market
I nvite to J r. Councilmembers to attend the A uburn Farmers Market, S unday, J une 11
for our P ride Celebration. The Mayor will be giving a short speech at 10 A M when the
Market opens. There won’t be seating or an official ceremony but they are welcome to
stand behind the Mayor in support of our L G B T Q+ community.
D.J uneteenth Celebration
A ny interest in participating, or volunteering for Auburn's J uneteenth Celebration on
S aturday, J une 18th at L es Gove Park.

The Parks Department staff wanted to know if any A J C C members wanted
to participate in the NA MI Walk J une 3 in K irkland from 8-11 a.m. and the
E pilepsy Awareness Walk J une 24 in Seattle. Melissa Bailey will reach out
to members to see if anyone wants to participate in either event.

B .Mayor's Podcast
I f interested in doing Mayor's Podcast, we will schedule two J unior Council Members
at a time with Mayor and J onathan to participate.
Chair Menzia, Vice Chair Mulenga, and Member Ayo would like to
participate; Director Hinman told the group that the City’s Communications
Manager would reach out to the A J C C participants for scheduling and
topics.
C.J unior Council J udge for Pet Costume Contest at A upurn
Farmers Market
The A uburn Farmers Market is hosting a Pets in the P ark Day on Sunday, J uly 9th.
There will be a pet costume contest from 1 – 2 P M. T hey would like one J r.
Councilmember to be a judge for the contest, it is from 12:30 P M – 2 P M.
Member Ayo will be the judge for the contest
