In Person & Virtual Meeting
I. Call to Order
The Urban Tree Board meeting began at 2:03 pm
Attendance: Chairperson Bryce Landrud, Vice-Chairperson Linda Bielejec, James Tournageau,
Tanya Galat, and Brooksie Hall. Staff members in attendance were Park Planning Manager
Thaniel Gouk, Park Maintenance Manager Stefanie Coleman, and Administrative Assistant Alexa
Bragg

February minutes were approved

IV. Old Business
The board discussed sending the final version of Chairperson Bryce Landrud’s article to the
Auburn Magazine. Park Planning Manager Thaniel is going to find out exactly who to send the
final draft to for publishing
Vice-Chair person Linda Bielejec asked about potentially creating a question-and-answer forum
and how the Tree Board and the Parks department would start this process
Board member Tanya Galat suggested the Mayor’s Newsletter for the question-and-answer idea
V. New Business
The Tree Board took a field trip to Game Farm Park behind baseball field 1 to view the space
that the Deodara Cedar tree will be planted for Arbor day

Arbor Day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17 at 10 am
The Tree Board viewed the Willow in the cache pond in front of the Auburn Community and
Events Center
