A. Call to Order -Chairperson Ken Bradford
B. Review of December 12, 2006 Minutes. Motion by Fred Helser and second
by Warren Olson to accept December 12, 2006 Minutes.
C. Old Business:
Regulations'for glass front niches were distributed.
Memorial Tree was successful again this year. We plan on donating the
tree again next year.
Craig explained the new vault installation fee to board members. It was
agreed that the charge was viable.
D. New Business:
The cemetery will be utilizing three seasonal workers again this year. It is
hopeful that one worker would be able to start by March 1St
The Easter Sunrise Service will be held again this year. It was discussed
that chairs and refreshments would be provided.
Advertising is continuing in local papers and periodicals. Every effort is
being made to get the most coverage for our advertising dollar.
The city's website has a new look,, with more `user friendly' features.
This should enable families to locate cemetery information readily.
Two housing developments are planned along the west property line of the
cemetery. Issues with proposed sewer lines have been addressed and
continue to be discussed.
E. Reports:
The columbarium is now getting its roof. There were slight delays due to
inclement weather. Construction is scheduled for completion prior to
Memorial Day.
Revenue for 2006 was in excess of $93,000.00.
F. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 2:50.
Our next meeting will be April 10, 2007 at 2:00.
