This draft would then be circulated to the appropriate FAA departments prior to implementation. ITEM 2. Hangar Roof Repairs. Planning Director Paul Krauss reported that the new hangar project was still on track and the infrastructure construction progressing. He reported that two elements had to be met in order to convince the City Council to approve the financing of this project. Number one that there is a large demand for the hangars and that they would be filled with tenants shortly after completion. Number two that they would pay for themselves. He reported that pre-lease agreements would be mailed out shortly for tenants who wanted to get on a list for the new hangars and indicated that a significant amount of agreements were submitted, it would help show the Council the demand for hangars is present. Other items discussed included, that the Street Department had agreed to sweep the Airport more frequently, a grant application had been submitted to the State Aviation Division for tree removal and fencing on the west side of the runway, that a new state of the art computer weather system was on order for pilots use, and that the July 1st meeting was cancelled.
