Old Business:
1. Airport Management & Operations update-
a. Gate operators - East entrance automated gate is still hanging up from time to
time. Automated Gates Company is to make a proposal to fix the problem.
b. Update on instrument approach status - The FAA has backed off from some of
the items the required for the survey. The remaining obstruction survey cost
estimate is $65,000.00. The airport does have State grant money available for
the survey of $10,000.00. Research will be conducted to see how other similar
airports have complied with the FAA survey. Also Mr. Garcia has talked and
corresponded with the City and the City Washington DC representatives to
advise them of the situation and how they might be able to help.
c. Gate key access validation process to begin in January 2005 and be completed
by March 31,2005. Tenants are receptive to the program and understand the
how and why this has been implemented.
d. Hangars Unlimited still no update on beginning of development
e. Storm water fees for the airport. Storm water has given the Airport the rates per
commercial land lease tenants and AMG will be billing those out on a monthly
basis to the tenants. The tenants will then remit to the City of Auburn. Issued
