Motion was made, seconded and was unanimously passed lbat the minutes of August, 2005 meeting are approved at this time. (Note: No minutes for September 2005 or October 2005 due to not enough members present for a quorum.) New business: Fuel pricing was discussed again with Valley Flyers and their letter that was distributed. This letter accusing possible price gouging on behalf ofthe airport or Air BP. Air BP responded with a letter and reasons for price increases and that all customers in the region are charged the same rate for fuel ordered. Air BP did give options in the way we purchase fuel amounts and transport fees. Garcia reported to municipal services and finance lbat AMG is pricing the fuel at $0.15 per gallon below the current costs basis. Gallo said why should the management cost be put onto the pump price since the city has a contract to begin with. Coleman spoke and said that it's completely separate from the management contract AMG has with the city. Guests spoke that the city needs to look at other forms of revenue at the airport. Asphalt condition is to be put aside until the state decides what to do in regards to the report generated by the State's consultant - CH2M Hill. Oil collection concerns and cost ofEP A requirements. Currently the airport pays about $0.26 a gallon to have waste oil removed. This is a convenience to our tenants that change their own oil. Questions are should it be a service the airport provides and who is to pay for this service. Old Business, Nominations for new AAB members one more is needed. Coleman brought up that if we have five or more one could live outside the City of Auburn. PropertY Development. Municipal services decided that lbe entire pads are to be used for development. Cascade helicopters are talking with Wright construction for their project. Appraisal and market rent analysis should be received soon. The land lease rates will be effective January 1,2006, while the airport rental rates and fees will be effective February I' 2006. The delay of receiving these reports was due to serious illness of the contracted MAl appraiser. Hangar operations. Discussed possible policies for allowing higher amperage equipment used by tenants inside their hangars. The failure of circuit breakers is a direct link to the usage. Talk of fines or updating some rental hangars to a working hangars status may be possible. Risner brought up the possible use of a task team for the subject; all members were in favor. To be implemented at a later date. Storage of non-aeronautical use of hangars. The use of hangars being used for storage other then aircraft was discussed. A few in the City run hangars have been dealt with by giving notices. Discussion of Condo associations was also discussed but a review of the land lease needs to be made and reported to the AAB prior to further discussion on non-aeronautical storage/activities in the Condo hangars. Update on Instrument approach. None Rules and regulations. Back in the legal department for review and for the regulations to be coded. Hangar header report. Reports and suggestions were given to the City. All were in favor of abandoning the $10,000.00 proposal for inspecting each header for stress levels. Instead the City will go with the report from the engineers and repair or replace few at a time. Airport equipment. It was discussed that the signage at the airport is in need of upgrades. The security and direction signs will be at the top priority. West Side access road has been delayed. lntegris miss"d the construction window for this year. Open Discussion. Vodry brought up that an RFP wasn't placed for the propertY north of the airport office. Most airports operate on a written notification system for RFP's for those interested for development. It was mentioned that no RFP was issued for Vodry's proposal and subsequent land lease for the south end development. There being no other business the meeting adjourned 0930. Respectfully submitted, Jarnelle R. Garcia, AMG On behalf ofthe City of Auburn
