the easterly side of Auburn ~~venue and amending Section 5 of Ordinance
::ro. 611 of the ordinances of the Uity of Auburn.

Section 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance. lio. 611 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn entitled "1:di OHIHLi..LCJ.:;: Prohibiting
the stalrling or parking of vehicles in alleys; 'regulating the use of
streets; regulating, lir,1itLng and prohibiting the use of streets by
standing or parking vehicles therein; providing for the reservation
of standing or parking space f'.Jr 'juto vehicles, and providing penal-
ties for violations hereof", be and the same hereby is amended so
that as ~nended said section shall read as follows:
Section 5. lJo oViner, driver or other pereon
having chal'ge of any vehicle shall permi t such vehicle
to stand or to be parked on any of the paved portions
of Auburn Avenue, except while such vehicle is being actu-
ally loaded or unloadl'd or while actually ta..:ing on or
letting off passengers; provided, however, that one
taxicab is hereby permi'tted to stand, parallel ri th the
curb or side ~alk, with the right hand wheels not more
tl1sn eight inches (8") from the outer line of sidewalk
or curb, on the easterly side of the paved portion of
said Auburn Avenue, between the follo',ving po int s: A
point on the westerly or outer edge of the existing
side walk or curb on the easterly side of said Auburn
Avenue, forty-six (46) feet northerly from the north
rn.arginal line of l.iain dtreet ~ast, and a point fifteen
(15) feet northeasterly therefrom, measured along the
outer edge of said side walk or curb; provided. further,
that such two points shall be plainly marked on such side
vlalk or ourb.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days f.com and after its passage, approval and publication
as required by law.
