ORDINll.lmE no. 666 AN ORDINA..WCE approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll oertified to the City Council on the 2d day of October, 1928, by the City Engineer, for the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 92 in the City of Auburn in pursuance of Ordinance No. 657, passed July 3, 1928, And providing the disposition of moneys collected on said assessment. ' WHEREAS due notice has been given that objections to the assessment and assessment roll hereinaft~ mentioned would be heard and determined by the City Council at th~ City Hall in the City of Auburn, Washington, on the 6th day of ~o~ember, 1928, at 8 o'ulock P. M., at which time the City Council would meet and hear appeals and objections of any and all persons claiming to be aggrieved by said assessment; and~' 't .~ WHEREAS the time for filing obj~ctions or taking an appeal has passed and no objections thereto have, been so filed; and WHEREAS the City Council has carefully examined and consid- ered such assessment and assessment roll and is now fully advised in the premises; . , NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll certified to the City Council on the 2d day of October, 1928, by the City Engineer of the City of Auburn for the costs of the improvement of all that portion-- of I street S. E. in the City of Auburn, Washington, situate between 2nd Street S. E. and 4th Street S. E. by, the laying of a water main therein to connect with the southerly end of the existing water main now laid-in said street and extending the same southerly along said street to connect with the existing water main on 4th ~treet S. E.t and the doing of other work incidental thereto, constitmting Local Improvement District No. 92 in the City of Auburn in pursuance of Ordinance ~o. 657 of said City, passed July 3t 1928, and the levy and charge of the cost of said improvement as shown upon said assessment roll and thereby apportioned upon the adjoining, contiguous and approximate lots and parcels of land specially benefited in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington and Ordinanae ~o. 657 of the City of Auburn, are hereby approved and oonf~rmed in all respects, and the City Treasurer is hereby directed to colleot said assessments which may be paid without interest, penalty 0 r costs, wi thin thirty (30) days after due notice shall have been given to the owners of the property within said assessment district by publication in the manner provided by law, and if said assessments be not paid within thirty (30) days from the date of the first publica- tion of said notice, the same shall bear interest thereafter at the rate of eight (8) per cent per annum. Seotion 2. The moneys oolleoted upon said assessment, approved and confirmed by this ordinance, are hereby ordered to be placed in local improvement fund District No. 92, the speoial fund created by ordinance No. 657, and all warrants drawn for the payment of said improvement shall be issued on and payable only out of said local improvement fund. Section 3.
