A suggestion was made to draft a Memorandum of Understanding between the City and NW Skyraiders which would
clearly define NW Skyraiders intent of airport use and include an exit clause for the City. Mr. Garcia and Mr. Shipman
will prepare an MOU and forward it to Ms. Coleman for review.
Tenant Information Update and access card registradon: ,
Mr. Shipman reports the update is nearly complete. Letters have been mailed to condo association presidents
regarding hangars that have not been inspected. Airport Management continues receiving bi-annual gate card
renewal forms.
State of Washington Department of Ecology inspecdon:
An inspection of the Airport resulted in questions directed toward the wash rack and fueling areas. Staying in %
compliance with our permit requires a drainage plan for fuel and wash rack areas. Additionally Chris Anderson, City
of.Auburn Environmental Protection Mgr. will continue sampling of storm water as required by the permit for
contaminants. A summary of the Storm Water Industrial permit will be provided by AMG at the next AAB meeting.
US EPA air monitoring update:

Policy on °storage" and parking of autos:
Long terni parldng outside h_angars continues to be a problem at the airport. A policy regarding parlung would make
compliance clear to all. A suggestion was made to provide an area for guest parking (with a parldng permit) for
vehicles left over 24 hours.
FAA Airport Master Platt Update:
A mid-term FAA Master Plan update is due this year. Mr. Garcia spoke with Reid Middleton and although they don't
have an airport division they could do a mid-term update depending on the complexity. Mr. Garcia stated CH2M Hill
could be a.possible contactsince they have airport experienee. The cost for the update is 95% covered by an FAA
grant and 2Y2 % covered by a State grant
New Business:
Lighdng replacement in hangar rows 9& 10 with LED
Mr. Shipman reports that Seattle LED contacted him regarding replace.ment of the lights in hangar rows 9 and 10. The
replacement of current:lights to LED could have been subsidized byPSE, however after review; the usage of ttiose
lights is nbt significant enough to be considered for subsidy. Mr. Shipman will report whether replacement would be
cost effective long term.
Review of matrix for Airport Projects
A suggestion was made to add FAA Airport Master Plan update to matrix.
Matrix items were reviewed.
Open discussion:
Mr. Osborne asked if any new businesses were coming to the Airport Ms. Coleman stated one response from the most
