A motion was made and seconded to accept the Minutes of the July 20, 2011 meeting,
Old Business:
Hangar Rows 9 & 10 - Steve Burke, City of Auburn, Project Construction Manager revisited the three options for roof
repair discussed last year, which were: remove & replace, spray on coating or a single seam top layer. The single seam
option replacement bid last year was not deemed cost effective and other options needed to be reviewed. Mr.
Osborne recommended using the spray on coating for repair. Steve Burke will look at several roofs with three to four
years of wear that had spray on coating and report to the Board prior to the next meeting. A special meeting to
discuss these findings was suggested by Mr. Osborne.
Clean Craft Detailing - John and Kolbi Tabakci introduced themselves to the Board as trained aircraft detailers using
a dry washing approach that want to do business at the Auburn Municipal Airport. Their company has a Washington
State Business license and holds liability insurance. They are welcome to do business when invited by a tenant
(customer).
NW SkyRaiders - The Memorandum of Understanding and fee structure will be presented as an information item to
Municipal Services at their next meeting.
State of Washington Dept. of Ecology Inspection and outcomes discussion; a copy of the inspection report was
distributed to Advisory Board Members which included the response from Chris Andersen, EPA Manager for the City
of Auburn. The Department of Ecology recommended either a `hold and pump' method or a sewer connect system be
used for an aircraft wash rack. Dan Repp City of Auburn Utilities Engineer will research the location of existing sewer
connectors near Northwest Aviation College and north east of hangar row two. Ms. Coleman, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Burke,
Mr. Garcia and Mr. Shipman will meet to discuss wash rack site options prior to the next Advisory Board Meeting.

Review of Matrix for Airport Projects
Open Discussion
Monthly Activity Report - It was suggested by Councilmember Peloza that AMG provide a monthly bulleted report of
what they have been working on for the month. Mr. Garcia will add this list of AMG projects on a separate matrix
page.
Emergency Response Management- Mr. Anderson suggested, and other board members agreed that setting up an
emergency drill with emergency response agencies would be beneficial. A discussion among members deemed this
need critical.
Meeting adjourned at 10:25 A.M.
Respectfully submitted,
