HomeMy WebLinkAbout4787 RESOLUTION NO. 4 7 8 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL WHEREAS, the City of Aubum Public Works Department and Finance Department have items which are no longer of use to the City; and WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part; tfirough gift to another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non- profit en4ity, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOWES as follows: Section 1. Purpose. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus, and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-profit entity: Public Works The following item is wom and becoming increasingly costly to maintain: P050B-1993 Chevrolet Cargo Van, VIN 1GCEG25N7PF345500, Fixed Asset Number 55000 P050B, Police Jail Van Finance The following item is antiquated and no longer in use: Resolution No. 4787 March 13;2012 Page 1 of 2 1992 13" Emerson Color Television with �deo Cassette PlayedRecorder, Serial Number 30236652-2407081. Section 2. Implementation. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 3. Effective Date.
