A motion was made and seconded to accept the Airport Advisory Board Minutes of the April 18, 2012.
Doug Lein, City of Auburn Director of Economic Development and Bill Thomas, Economic Development Planner
discussed the property development of the airport west side and its impact on future growth of the Auburn Municipal
Airport.
Old Business:
Leasing of the 2131 office /hangar space update - Mr. Garcia gave an update regarding the new tenant and their long
term lease extensions. Tenant requests fence relocation, addition of personnel gate and rent reduction for the first
four months of occupancy to defray the cost of improvements. Ms. Coleman recommended asking the tenant to
include their capital improvement plan with the lease requests; submit information to legal for review.
New Business:
Wildlife Hazard Assessment - After a brief discussion a recommendation was made to defer action, since funding
would be assessed to the City of Auburn. This item will be added to Matrix.
Fuel Discount Program - Mr. Maiorca presented a flyer about the new fuel discount being offered at the airport.
Customers may purchase a pre -pay 3% fuel discount card or gift card from the office during office hours.
Discussion:
The matrix was reviewed.
