Section 1. That pursuant to the ~rovisions of Chapter 158
of the laTIs of ~~shin~ton of the year A. D. 1923 ~nd the laws of the
state of 'Jashin[;t on supplementc.l thereto and amendatory there of, the
l~yor of the city of Auburn has heretofore duly completed cnd placed
on file with the City Cler:c of the City of Auburn a preliminary bud~et
tor the year 1935; that notice \";as thereupon Qul? p1:.blished as re(tu:.red
by law statine that the luyor had completed Rnd placed on file suoh
preliminary budget and th~t a copy TIeuld be furnished to any taxpayer
who would call therefor at the office of the City Clerk and th~t the
cO\U1cil of the City of Auburn viould meet on the first ::onday of October,
1934, at 8: 00 o'cloo}[ P. 1:., for the purpose of fixinG the final bu(lr;et
and m}cin~ the tax levies und thr t any ta:l::payer mir:ht appear at suoh
meetine and be heard for or ar,ainst any part of such budc;et, desi--:l1..'l.ting
the place of such meeting at the City Hall in the City of Auburn, KinG

suitable number of oopies of suoh detailed anQ preliminary budget to

1, 1934, and that any and all tax payers of the Cit:!' of Aubl11'n were
civen full opportunity to be heard for er against such budeet; that such
