Chair;J.udi,Roland called.the megting to order at7 00 p m. in,the Gouncil Chambers
located on the first floor of Aubu�n City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Au6um, V1IA.

Plan work.
On May 21, 2014, the City held a Vision Town Hall meeting in order to report back_fo the
community on the visioning theme arid info�riiation collected through"out the Im"agine
Process. The consultant is cu_rrently working on the yisioning report and the �eport tirill

Planning Gommission.

A. Recreational Marijuana
', Senior Planner Jones provided an overview of the May 20, 2014 putilic worKsRop.

workshop, reviewing Initiati4e 1-502 ancl:all applicabie State regulations. receiVing:a
. p.opular vote of State of 1Nashington_and::Gity of Aubum residents, Senior Planrier
', Jones stated it is staffs recommendation that the Planning Commission move,
forward with Option 2: Option 2 would allow State licensed ma�ijuana use with no
further regulation,
The Commission and staff discussed the City's Iiabiiities if Option 2 we�e selected. A

Staff agreed that adding changes to Option 2 would,�esult in an Option:3. The
absence of an Auburn Business License forthose selling recreational marijuana as a

, The Commission asked if staff could provide tl�aft language for Option 1 and Option
2 as propos.ed,by staff for 4he affecfed.sections of the Aubum City Code(ACC). Staff
confirmecJ that they will draft the code language for Option 1 and Option 2 to bring
