Place: Auburn Municipal Airport,506 23r°St.NE.,Conference Room 1 Public Comment:Cal Hunziker said there is a berm in front of the hangars due to the asphalt slurry seal. Mr. Maiorca said Blackline will come out and fix any areas that are deemed unaccepta6le. Approval of Minutes:A motion was made and seconded to adopt the Advisory Board minutes of luly 16,2014. Presentatlons and Routine Reports: 1.Review of Matrlx— Master Plan Update—Mr.Garcia reported the final dreft was received on August 19,2014.An electronic copy was sent to all PAC members.Aker a review by Ms.Coleman and Mr.Garcia the draft will be sent to the FAA. 506 Buflding Update—The update is nearly complete except for a few minor touch ups and the installation of a door in the back 600 ft.The Ciry of Auburn facilities will maintain the building in the future.A morithly fee has not been determinedforthe maintenance. 506 Building—Mr.Garcia ls continuing to contact aviation businesses to see if they would be interested in renting the back 600 square ft.space or one of two small'start up'o�ces in the 506 building. Mr.Garcia said the FAA has approved the rental of facilities or hangars to non-aviation related businesses under certain circumstances Alrport Branding—The AAB recommends moving forwaFd with branding for the airport. Ms.Coleman advised tFat Auburn is curiently going through a rebrending of tlie City;and ihis needs to be coordinated together with the City's �ebranding efforts. Alrport Asphalt Repalr and Seal-Mr. Maiorca reports scheduling problems and inconsistencies with the contractor. Any areas of slurry toat and restriping that do not meet FAA specification will be redone. Ms.Coleman said sHe would speak to Century West about scheduling. Row 3 Hangar Development—Waters and Woods are revisiting their bid for the construction. Ms.Coleman suggested starting with converting three hangars at a time to see what they would look like,or possibly as many as five hangars;and installing the fire alarm system for the entire row. Waters and Wood plan to assemble the low maintenance metal doors here. Ms. Coleman reported the following monies used from the Airport Enterprise Fund;$65,000.00 for the renovation of the 506 building,5178,000.00 for the total airport.share including the additional slurry not eligible for FAA funds and$125,000.00 was allocated for hangar row 3 development.. Auburn Fllght Servlce Building—Mr. Garcia said he has spoken with Mr. Kopp,current owner of the 1725 E St. NE building,who is interested in selling. A discussion ensued about the City purchasing the building and how it could fiscally benefit the City and Alrport. Mr.Garcia will follow up with Mr.Kopp. Communicatlon Infrastrudure—City Council passed a contrect with Comcast which is better than the projected tiudget.Ron Tiedeman,IT Diredor for the City of Aubum heads the project.
