HomeMy WebLinkAbout5121 RESOLUTION NO. 5 1 2 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE 2015-2020 SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF AUBURN PURSUANT TO RCW CHAPTER 35.77 WHEREAS, the City of Auburn is required to include projects on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) in order to be eligible to apply for grant funds from the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35.77.010 of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), a public hearing to consider amending the 2015-2020 Transportation Improvement Program for the City of Auburn was scheduled to be held on February 2, 2015, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, pursuant to notice published in the legal newspaper of the City of Auburn on January 22, 2015; and WHEREAS, in connection therewith, an amendment to the 2015-2020 six year Transportation Improvement Program for the City of Auburn was proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: Section 1. The amendment to the 2015-2020 Transportation Improvement Program of the City of Auburn, as proposed, is approved, consistent with the plan attached hereto and denominated as Exhibit "A," incorporated herewith by reference, designating the streets within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn to be improved in the manner therein set forth during the years set for the improvement of such street or streets. --------------------------- Resolution No. 5121 January 26, 2015 Page 1 Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Auburn is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Washington State Department of Transportation for filing not more than thirty (30) days after the adoption of this Resolution. Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this legislation. Section 4.
